Megan Heidel

I am passionate about helping people.  Before attending law school, I worked in non-profits in Ecuador, Colorado, and Philadelphia. I am bilingual and primarily worked with Spanish-speaking clients in difficult circumstances or with life-long disabilities. These past roles have shaped my compassionate approach to communicating and working with our clients. 

In law school, I focused primarily on criminal and constitutional law, interning with the Denver DA, the Defender Association of Philadelphia, and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania U.S. Attorney’s Office. I also participated in an expungement clinic assisting the people of Philadelphia in expunging and sealing criminal records, assisted with case review at the Philadelphia Innocence Project, and volunteered for HIAS Pennsylvania serving the immigrant community.

I am excited to continue to apply these learned skills in combination with my experience clerking at the district court level to my role as an associate attorney at Dolan + Zimmerman LLP.
